Sophia joined StoneCroft in 2024 as an engineering co-op student while completing her civil engineering degree at the University of Victoria. She continues to return to StoneCroft for each of her co-op terms which provides us with a unique opportunity to build and deepen her practical engineering experience with each consecutive placement. Always enthusiastic, Sophia is eager to learn and is equally proficient in both the field and office. Sophia has a passion for fishing and the outdoors which inspired her pursuit of professional engineering in the natural resource sector.
Rosie holds a key position at StoneCroft as Proposal Coordinator. Her role is to support the proposal process from start to finish, as well as undertaking various other business development related activities. Rosie’s strong business acumen and organizational skills gained through her own entrepreneurial pursuits are complimented by over a decade of engineering technologist roles in the mining and municipal sectors. Rosie holds a Diploma in Mining Technology and Mineral Exploration from BCIT as well as a Business Administration Certificate from Capilano.

Emily is an engineering technologist at StoneCroft. A graduate from the University of New Brunswick, Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and is currently pursuing her designation as a Registered Professional Forester with Forest Professionals BC. Emily’s vibrant communication approach and strong background in field work combine to provide thoughtful and organized management to any project. Emily keeps safety at the forefront of everything she does, both in the field and in the office, as well as when she undertakes supervisory roles.

Max is a senior project manager and environmental lead at StoneCroft. His diverse skills include construction supervision, biology, forest planning, tree falling, estimating, and project management. Max prioritizes safety leadership and environmental stewardship, always aiming to serve his clients effectively. As a Registered Professional Biologist with the College of Applied Biology, he has led various projects in environmental monitoring, sediment management, and permitting. With extensive experience in coastal construction, he quickly assesses projects to determine the most efficient, cost-effective approaches. As a senior estimator for road construction, he identifies innovative cost-saving opportunities, bringing valuable expertise to StoneCroft’s road design and construction services. Max holds a Master’s in Forestry from the Technical University of Munich and a Master’s in Biology from Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich. He is also a Certified Faller and trained Forest Supervisor with the BC Forest Safety Council.
